OUR FAVOURITE LOCAL STROLLS

1. The Little Stroll

Time: 30 minutes

Distance: 2km

Terrain/Notes: footpaths, some uneven terrain, a small hill descent/climb.

2. The Stretch the Legs

Time: 2 hours

Distance: 5km

Terrain/Notes: footpaths, bridleways, some hills and uneven terrain.

3. The Half Day'er

Time: 4-6 hours [at 3km/hr walking speed]

Distance: 14km (approx.)

Terrain/Notes: some roads, otherwise a mixture of footpaths and bridleways. The route takes in several ascents/descents which, depending on fitness level, will increase the total time of the walk.

4. The Full Day'er

Time: Allow a 9am - 5pm day

Distance: 23km

Terrain/Notes: a mixture of roads, footpaths and bridleways, incorporating a series of hills. There are two or three places along the route for a lunch stop, such as pubs/shops. Best to book in advance if seeking a pub stop!
